An Agency for the Regional Development of the Ivano-Frankivsk region was created in order to enhance the social and economic progress of the Carpathian region

On October 25, the first meeting of the Regional Development Agency of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast was held.

During the meeting, the regulations on the institution and the supervisory board were approved, the location of the Agency and the organizational ensuring of the procedure for its state registration were determined. Also approved the personal membership of the supervisory board in the number of six people, from which the oblast state administration included the first deputy chairman of the Regional State Administration Mariya Savka, deputy chairman of the Regional State Administration Yaroslav Paraniuk and president of the Ivano-Frankivsk Chamber of Commerce Andriy Levkovich. The oblast council will be represented by the chairman of the Standing Committee on Budget, Finance and Tax Mykola Paliychuk, chairman of the Standing Committee on Regional Policy, Decentralization and Development of Local Self-Government Vasyl Melnychuk and chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration, International Cooperation, Investment and Tourism Development Ihor Debenko.

The Agency will operate at: Ivano-Frankivsk, ul. T. Tsokler, 9a.
