There are 16.9 million economically active citizens in Ukraine, 470,00 of them are involved in the creative economy. This is reported by LIGA.net.

The workers of the creative industries make up only 2.8% of the working population. They bring the country 105 billion hryvnias, which is 4.4% of GDP. For comparison, the UK’s creative economy generates nearly 10 million pounds per hour.

The British Department of Media Culture and Sports includes the following areas to the creative economy: design, cinema, media, advertising, architecture, publishing, IT, art, photography, video.
